reTHINK Connection, LLC is a small, personable firm working in the electronic systems integration field, providing best in class design, installation and support. Our concentration is primarily in home automation but we also provide services in light commercial, corporate, retail and niche markets all along the Colorado Front Range.

reTHINK specializes in the integration of disparate electronic systems; energy conservation, security and digital surveillance, lighting and HVAC controls and custom audio/visual. Key to our success is unparalleled service and commitment to strong engineering. I have absolute confidence that reTHINK will not only meet but exceed your expectations while putting the "fun" in functionality.

So, why reTHINK? Few other firms can begin to approach our level of experience and expertise. I have commissioned 260,000 square foot building automation systems, built home automation and audio/visual systems for a 300 acre/$60 million dollar ranch and designed and implemented a home automation system managing a Platinum rated LEED/USGBC project. I work on the ultimate in custom designs, including writing custom software for "odd ball" integration requests as well as modest systems that can be installed quite affordably. No matter the scope or scale of the project, we have the expertise to implement it.

Further, reTHINK Connection is fully transparent. reTHINK is open in regards to process, to pricing and expectations. I believe in under promising and over delivering. In other words, I will never claim that a system will do what it won't do. I will never "guinea pig" a client, recommending solutions that are unproven.  You, the client can expect improved safety, comfort and convenience and our proven solutions are simple to operate.

pricing and policies...

The internet has changed everything. I recognize it, enjoy it and respect it. We are well aware of the fact that there is virtually no product that reTHINK offers that can't be found online and sometimes for prices that I am unable to match.

Unlike many systems integrators, we will happily install products purchased directly by the end user. There are caveats, though. Number one, we cannot offer any free warranty service on purchases not made directly through reTHINK Connection. Please be aware that while purchasing online may allow for a slight savings (reTHINK's prices are generally very low) it also almost always means that the manufacturer will not warranty the equipment purchased. In other words, clients are welcome to bypass our sales process but, reTHINK Connection will not be held responsible and any service work necessary, including changes made to the design, will be billable. We would rather get this out of the way now and avoid potential future issues. Conversely, reTHINK offers free warranty service for products that we provide for the first ninety days and reduced rates for equipment related service calls for an entire year after installation.

Second, we have been building systems for many years and know well what works and what doesn't. Experience informs our product selections when designing/engineering a solution for you. These are truly custom designs and each and every piece is selected for it's performance, reliability and ability to "play nice with others". All of this is said to make clear that we would urge you to contact us before making an online or big box purchase. There is virtually zero customer service via online retailers and the big box stores have largely earned their reputations for incompetance. Allow reTHINK Connection to help steer you in the right direction and you can rest assured that your purchase will add value rather than induce headaches.

We stand behind our recommendations and welcome the opportunity to work with you, our valued clients, whether or not reTHINK Connection supplies the bulk of equipment to be installed in your home.

As for pricing, we offer both fixed and time/materials quotes. The nature of the project will establish which is more appropriate and typically require an on site visit to correctly determine. Dedicated to adding value to your home or business and lifestyle, we will work closely with you to provide the right solution, on time and for a fair price.

Time and materials projects will be billed at the following rates...

Commercial integration, design and labor = $90/hour + taxes and materials

Residential integration, design and labor = $80/hour + taxes and materials

Service work = $90 for the first hour and either $80/hour or $70/hour depending on whether the work is residential or commercial in nature.

Programming Services = $90/hour
